Today we are pleased to explain two of our mayor developments: DexSuede and ArmaSuede, developed by MoG and AX Materials to transform the tactical glove industry.

What is non-woven suede?

Non-woven suede is a synthetic material made by bonding fibres together to create a fabric that mimics the look and feel of natural suede. Unlike traditional woven fabrics, non-woven suede is made by bonding fibres together mechanically, chemically or thermally. The result is a durable, flexible material that offers better water resistance and breathability than natural suede.

Engineered polyester fibre – the workhorse of our fibres

The core of both suedes, our engineered polyester, is made from special fibres to create a highly flexible, lightweight and comfortable material. These fibres are more durable and breathable than natural leather or other non woven suedes, providing superior performance.

DexSuede: The ultimate in dexterity and comfort.

DexSuede represents a significant advance in glove material. It combines the softness and flexibility of suede with the dexterity and durability required for tough tasks. It only offers a thinness of 0.6mm, one of the thinnest suedes on the market. The thickness, combined with the stretch, gives you the feeling of not wearing a glove.

ArmaSuede

Representing the pinnacle of glove material innovation, ArmaSuede offers unrivalled durability, abrasion resistance and protection, and is designed to withstand the harshest environments, making it the first choice for users in harsh conditions where safety is critical. Despite its very high abrasion resistance, the magic is that the suede is only 0.8mm thin. It’s the perfect cocktail of dexterity, high abrasion resistance and performance.
